To encourage seniors to keep their independence while discovering greater freedom through Companionship and Accompaniment services, including escorted incidental transportation. As a dedicated Personal Services provider, Happy Day Seniors Services believes this is more than helping our clients with daily activities, it is about kindness, trust, friendship and making a difference in their lives.

I had a dream to start a business, coupled with a love for people especially seniors and to support seniors or ones with disabilities and challenges.
Happy Day Senior Services Inc

has been providing service for seniors and their families to help them continue to be independent by offering a wide variety of professional Companionship and Accompaniment and private Incidental Transportation services based on the specific needs of each person.
All these services are carried out brilliantly by a team of 7 exceptional Companions.

How We Started
Alfred "HAPPY" Day & Florence Day
Happy Day Senior Services is named after my father Alfred Day, known to everyone as Happy Day.
My father was also a business owner and I have many memories of my father helping others. His wife Florence, my mother, had polio and my father was her #1 support. It seemed to me 'Happy Day' was the original Good Samaritan, bringing homeless people to our house for meals, fresh clothing and to have a warm bath. He would drive neighbours to and from town for errands, plow snow during the winter, dig ditches and put in water lines for neighbours and friends. Rescue the neighbours cat, provide a place to rent for a family that needed a roof over their head, water plants, cut lawns, visit and make people laugh. He really was always so happy when he was helping someone which is why he was known and called Happy Day.
Although he is deceased, his legacy lives on in his children, myself, my sister and brothers. I am so honoured and thrilled to be able to name my business after my father, and I know he would be humbled but smiling and so happy about this exciting new venture.
What We Do
Getting You Where You Want To Go
Happy Day Senior Services started with a dream 20 years ago to one day own my own business. I wanted to find a way to serve and support seniors to keep their independence by providing Companionship, Social & Leisure Activities and Accompaniment services, including personal incidental transportation, based on their needs and especially when they can't or won't be driving anymore.
As a companion, we would get to know the senior and find out what they are needing or wanting to do. We will offer lots of social interaction, be a listening ear, helping hands for non-medical needs and be that someone to accompany them on their different plans and adventures.
